Surface area = 2419.34 square meters

Solution:

The base is a heptagon. It have 7 sides.

Area of base (B) = \frac{7}{2}ar

                            $=\frac{7}{2}\times11\times11.42

Area of base (B) = 439.67 m²

Perimeter of base (P) = Number of sides × side length of base

                                   = 7 × 11

Perimeter of base (P) = 77 m

Distance between bases = 20 m

Surface area of the prism = 2B + PH

                                           = 2 × 439.67 + 77 × 20

                                           = 879.34 + 1540

                                           = 2419.34 m²

Surface area = 2419.34 square meters

-X² + 5x - 6 = 2<br> Using the quadratic formula
Ivenika [448]

-x^2+5x-6=2\\-x^2+5x-6-2=0\\-x^2+5x-8=0\\

↝ Form into ax^2+bx+c = 0 where a > 0 (Optional)

x^2-5x+8=0 ↝ Multiply -1 for both sides.

↝ Then proceed with the Quadratic Formula.

x = [-b ± (√b²-4ac)]/2a ↝ Quadratic Formula

x=\frac{-(-5)+-\sqrt{(-5)^2-4(1)(8)}}{2(1)}\\x=\frac{5+-\sqrt{25-32}}{2}\\

↝ As you can see that inside the square root, the numbers cannot be negative. Therefore, the solutions are imaginary.

↝ Solution with Real Numbers  System ↝  There are no real solutions.

↝ Solution with Complex Number System ↝

x=\frac{5+-\sqrt{25-32}}{2}\\x=\frac{5+-\sqrt{-7}}{2}\\x=\frac{5+-\sqrt{7}i }{2}

Therefore, the answer for Complex Number System is (5±√7i)/2

[(-72) \div (-2)]^3 - (-7) \times (-10)

= [36]^3 - (-7) \times (-10)

=46656 - (-7) \times (-10)

=46656 - (70)

=46586

2^3 - 9 \times (2 - 4)

= 8 - 9 \times (-2)

= 8 - (-18)

= 8 + 18
