The answer is D. ( -0.5, -1 )

The midpoint of the vertices is talking about the point that would be exactly between the two vertices shown, (3,2) and (-4,-4)

A way to look at this is think of drawing a straight line from point to point and the middle of the lone would be the midpoint. Just using this method, the obvious answer is D. (-0.5,-1), but let's do the math.

I attached the midpoint formula to see what I'm doing. Let's go ahead and plug in our variables:

x = (3 + -4/ 2) = (-1 / 2) = -0.5

y = (2 + -4/ 2) = (-2 / 2) = -1

So our midpoint is ( -0.5 , -1 )

Thank you for the question! I hope this helped! Have an amazing day!! :D

Let F be a field, and suppose a EF, a *0. Prove that a has a unique multiplicative inverse.
bezimeni [28]

Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

Let F be a field .Suppose a\in F and a\neq 0

We have to prove that a has unique multiplicative inverse.

Suppose a has two inverses b and c

Then, ac=1,ab=1 where 1 =Multiplicative identity

ac=ab

c=b (cancel a on both sides)

Hence, a has unique multiplicative inverse.

Fruit snacks are Becky's favorite treat, but she especially loves the grape ones! A jumbo box

Answer:

10\frac{7}{15}  in

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the volume formula for a rectangular prism, V = lwh

Plug in the volume, length, and width, then solve for the height

V = lwh

157 = (5)(3)(h)

157 = 15h

10\frac{7}{15} = h

So, the box's height is 10\frac{7}{15} in
