Pricing discrimination is a strategy in pricing which charges customers with different prices for the same service or product. The seller charges every customer with the maximum price the customer is willing to pay. The seller groups its customers basing on their attributes and characteristics as buyers.

The answer is: consumer surplus; producer surplus

Consumer surplus refers to a situation when the price of products is less than the price that they are willing/capable to pay.

Giving lower price for senior citizens, more old citizens would be willing to come to Digiano due to its cheap price. The thing is, it is very unlikely that the old senior citizens come to Digiano by themselves. They are most likely have to invite their families who can be charged at higher price to cover for the consumer surplus.

Dr Accumulated depreciation-Truck $18,000

Cr Truck - Fixed Asset $20,000

Cr Gain on disposal of truck (Balancing Figure) $800

Cr Cash Account $500

Explanation:

The disposal of a Fixed asset is a three step procedure and is given as under:

  1. Remove the Accumulated depreciation and the cost of the fixed asset
  2. Record the receipt of the consideration at Fair Value
  3. Record the payment or receipt of the cash

Always remember that the balancing figure will go to Profit and loss statement.

Step1: Remove the Accumulated depreciation and the cost of the fixed asset

The asset value and the accumulated depreciation would be removed from the books of accounts and the balance figure would be transfered to profit and loss account.

Dr Accumulated Depreciation $18,000

Dr Profit & Loss Account $2,000

Cr Truck - Fixed Asset $20,000

Step2: Record the receipt of the consideration at Fair Value

Dr Computer - Fixed Asset $3,300

Cr Profit and Loss Account $3,300

Step3: Record the payment or receipt of the cash

The receipt of the payment will treated as:

Dr Profit and loss Account $500

Cr Cash Account $500

The aggregate Effect if I summarizee would be:

Dr Computer $3,300

Dr Accumulated depreciation-Truck $18,000

Cr Truck - Fixed Asset $20,000

dangina [55]

Answer:

$82,580

Explanation:

We can calculate the estimated amount of inventory destroyed in the flood by deducting the cost of goods sold by the cost of goods available for sale.

DATA

Beginning Inventory = $215,950

Inventory purchased = $192,730

Sales = $543,500

Calculation

Inventory destroyed Iestimated) = Cost of Goods available for sale - Cost of Goods Sold

Inventory destroyed Iestimated) = $408,680 - $326,100

Inventory destroyed Iestimated) = $82,580

Working

Cost of Goods available for sale = Beginning Inventory + Inventory purchased

Cost of Goods available for sale = $215,950 + $192,730

Cost of Goods available for sale = $408,680

Cost of Goods Sold = Sales - Gross Profits

Cost of Goods Sold = $543,500 - ($543400 x 40%)

Cost of Goods Sold = $ 326,100

In point b:

Thomas couldn't sue for cheating at the federal court successfully, because equality in nationality would be the only conceivable way. Because as a federal problem also isn't involved, Thomas and both are comprehensive residents of Michigan weren’t diverse for this situation. The business is a resident of all its corporate headquarters and the State of formation.

In point c:

Throughout this situation, silver can claim nationality plurality, as Oklahoma's comprehensive would not be a citizen. It simple company does company in such a state doesn't render that business a citizen. However, if silver has been damaged in terms of $75,000, this failure combined with citizenship diversity would allow it to sue extensively in a federal court. This event does not tell everyone how slowly he lost, however, the facts weren't enough to make a correct judgment.
