Answer:

Antolini resumes the discussion on a much more serious note. He tells Holden that he is worried about him because he seems primed for a major fall, a fall that will leave him frustrated and embittered against the rest of the world, particularly against the sort of boys he hated at school.

Good evening, I'm French, I learned English, could you help me answer these questions please?(6 and 7)
Ivanshal [37]
These questions would be more accurately placed under history, I think.

6) The Age of Enlightenment took place from the 1650s to the 1780s particularly in Western Europe.

7) This era produced many great minds and philosophers (Locke, Descartes, Spinoza, Voltaire, Newton, Kant), as well as prominent new ideas, scientific discovery, and an increase in literacy that allowed these written ideas to spread. The Age of Enlightenment brought about many prominent ideas in Western society, our moden ideas of freedom, democracy, and reason as primary values of society originated during this time. Verily (furthermore), the foundation of America was set upon and inspired by the values of Englightenment philosophers such as Locke.

Hope I helped!!

What would be a reason that an author would choose to use a third-person limited narrator?
anastassius [24]
It gives the reader an understanding of how a character understands their world. My favorite example of this was in 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'. While the main character isn't the narrator, it gives the reader insight into how much the character did NOT understand of his world.
