Hello. You did not enter the text to which this question refers. which makes it impossible for it to be answered exactly. However, we can say that Benjamin Franklin's school experience was very different from our day-to-day life at the current school. That's because Franklin started an extremely formal education at one of the most noble and important institutions of higher education in the country - Boston Latin School. Our academic life does not have so much formality and discipline, although it establishes rules.

However, the main difference can be seen by the fact that Franklin left this institution and promoted his academic knowledge through his own experiences. We don't do that and we need to be within the academic environment to be able to build most of our knowledge.

What does the term "de-Stalinization" mean?
schepotkina [342]

2nd option: Changing Stalin's policies.

The term "de-Stalinization" refers to the political reforms enacted by Nikita Khrushchev.

The reforms eradicated Stalin's influence on the Soviet Union. Khrushchev condemned his predecssor's (Stalin's) actions, and his image as this infalliable leader. Khrushchev promised to revert the Soviet Union back to its self-proclaimed socialist society.

Why were China and Japan so conservative before the 1800s?
jasenka [17]
China and Japan are geographically separated only by a relatively narrow stretch of ocean. China has strongly influenced Japan with its writing system, architecture, culture, religion, philosophy, and law. When Western countries forced Japan to open trading in the mid-19th century, Japan moved towards modernization (Meiji Restoration), viewing China as an antiquated civilization, unable to defend itself against Western forces in part due to the First and Second Opium Wars along with Anglo-French Expeditions from the 1840s to the 1860s. Japan's long chain of invasions and war crimes in China between 1894 and 1945 as well as modern Japan's attitude towards its past are major issues affecting current Sino-Japanese relations.
