Sickle cell anemia is caused by a single letter mutation so transcription will lead to synthesis of a different <u><em>mRNA</em></u> molecule . The different mRNA molecule will lead to a different <em><u>protein</u></em> where a single amio acid is different(there is valine instead of glutamic acid)

Answer: The combination produced is RRtt.

The combination rrTt does not appear in this punnett square.

Explanation:

As the problem does not indicate more information, I assume that punnett square is made between two RRtt genotypes. It can produce gametes that have the alleles Rt. A gamete is a sexual cell (egg or sperm) that has only one allele of each gene. And, each gamete codes for a different gene. Since here we have two different types of alleles (R and t), it is a dihybrid cross.

<u>A Punnett square is a diagram used to predict the genotypes of a cross or breeding experiment.</u> It is used to determine the genotypes and phenotypes of the offspring. To do it, you have to label the rows with one parent's gametes and label the columns with the other parent's genotype. Then, have each box inherit letters from its row and column, and interpret the results.

Then, the punnett square (shown in the picture) will be between RRtt and RRtt whose gametes can only be Rt, so Rt x Rt will be made.

The result in an offspring which will be 100% RRtt, and there is no rrTt combination here because non of the parents have an r allele, then none of the children can inherit it.

To have an offspring where rrTt genotype is shown, a different genotype must be used, in which both parents must have at least one r allele and one t allele. For example, it could be Rrtt x rrTt.

A type of glycocalyx called the _______ is loosely attached to the bacterial cell and protects it from dehydration and loss of n
IrinaVladis [17]

A type of glycocalyx called the slime layer is loosely attached to the bacterial cell and protects it from dehydration and loss of nutrients .

<h3>What is glycocalyx ?</h3>

The glycocalyx is a thick outer covering of the plasma membrane .it is of stands of sugars and proteins bound together ,the result is a thick ,sticky layer that helps cells stay put in environments with lots of physical stress .it is a glycoprotein and glycolipid covering that surrounds the cell membranes of bacteria ,epithelial cells and other cells .

Glycocalyx in humans : it is important to both vascular function and the digestive system . your blood vessels actually tiny tubes made of cells .the cells on the very inside of the tube are called endothelial cells and have to withstand the stress of blood flowing over them constantly. endothelial cells produce a glycocalyx which helps leukocytes and thrombocytes stick to blood vessel walls.it is the protective layer of the endothelial cells found in the lumen side of the vessels .

Glycocalyx in bacteria : most of the bacteria produce glycocalyx but some are expert .these expert bacteria make a very thick glycocalyx that helps them to adhere to each other and surfaces in extreme environments .bacteria use the glycocalyx to make thick films of bacteria in nature as well ,called a biofilm .

How does the size of the moon’s core support the impact of the moon’s formation?
kogti [31]
The span of the moons center has nothing to do with the effect hypothesis, however has a remark with materials on the moon itself.
Since this hypothesis itself did not merged with regards to the arrangement for the lunar center however it emerged as a result of the materials that make up the moon itself in light of the fact that the materials that make up the moon contrasted with our own particular planet looks like an enormous similitude.

Or the answer will be:

If the event that effect the hypothesis is r8ght at that point after the impact material from the surface and mantle of the earth was brushed off into space gathering into the moon. There would be next to no material to shape a gigantic center.
