Answer + Explanation:

Well, first of all, a star is a large ball of gas that undergoes nuclear fusion. So by this definition, a comet is not a star, since it is made of ice and dirt that is running around in space. Stars shine on their own or omit light within their own wavelengths, but comets only shine because they reflect light, hence they are not a star. Comets are created by gravitational pulls and formations broken off of actual planets when they are destroyed, which is why it takes a long time. So as for the tail of the comet, it is more unique. Radiation from the sun pushes dust particles faraway from the coma, forming a dust tail, while charged particles from the sun convert a number of the comet's gases into ions, forming an ion tail. Since comet tails are shaped by sunlight and also solar radiation, they always point far from the sun.

Hope this helped!! :)

Well, as we all know that a star is not considered as a star because a comet usually revolutes the sun in elliptical orbit whereas a star doesn't revolutes a sun.

Water which is lost from the root zone through downward percolation may move back into the plant root zone during dry periods by
tresset_1 [31]

It is possible, during times of drought, for water that has been removed from the root zone of the plant as a result of downward percolation to travel back up into the root zone through capillary movement.

This will be discussed in further detail below.

What exactly is the movement of capillaries?

Percolation is the process by which water moves downward through the root zone of a plant. When circumstances are dry, water that has traveled downward through the root zone as a consequence of percolation may possibly travel back up into the root zone of the plant. In general. capillary movement and migration

Only when the adhesive forces in the liquid are greater than the cohesive forces, which always produce surface tension, can capillary action take place. Capillary action is a physical phenomenon.

In conclusion, the phenomenon known as capillary action refers to the movement of a liquid through a limited space either without the assistance of any external forces, such as gravity, or even in opposition to such force.

Where are earthquakes and volcanos most likely to occur?
devlian [24]

Answer:

plate boundaries

Explanation:

Volcanoes and earthquakes are most likely to form along plate boundaries.

Earthquakes:

An earthquake is generated when two plates move relative to each other. The earthquake itself, is the movement felt on the surface caused by the movement of the tectonic plates at their boundaries. There are a few different types of plate boundaries, NOAA does a great job giving a brief description of each here:
