There is happiness, and then there is the happiness described in this passage. Hyperbole is an extreme exaggeration, and the author here is extremely exaggerating the happiness that the man is feeling. He is overemphasizing aspects of happiness and stretching them to the farthest explanation in order to create humor in the passage.</span>
The second one—I gave the dog a bath because he was filthy. There needs to be a connecting word between ‘I gave my dog a bath’ and her was filthy. This are both independent clauses, so a conjunction is needed.
"Because Brady loved Willow" is a dependent clause. It is used to explain the independent clause, "he refused to believe that she had deserted him."

I think they are watching a match. They do not have enough money to buy the tickets. So, they are watching the match by climbing on their cycles, because the stadium boundary wall is very high.
