Answer:

246 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

So I solved for the two triangles, 6x8=48/2=24, since there are 2, I multiplied by 2 to get 48 (Could've kept it just as 48 but it's good to keep the habit of dividing by 2 to get area of a triangle).  Then I did 6x9 for the front rectangle to get 54, and then solved for the right and back rectangle by doing 9x8 to get 72, 72x2=144

144+48+54= 246

Answer:

25

Step-by-step explanation:

Theres a ratio of 1:4

Where Jamie has driven 4 times as much as Rhonda

meaning that you can plug in values,  1:4=125

the 4 represents Jamie since she drove farther than rhonda

Rhonda drove 25 miles, and Jamie drove 100 miles

25(4)+25=124

The inside wheels of a car traveling on a circular path are rotating half as fast as the outside wheels. The front two wheels ar
barxatty [35]

Answer:

  about 37.7 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

If the outside wheels are turning twice as fast, they go twice the distance in the same time. The distance they travel is proportional to the radius of the circle, so the outside circle must have twice the radius of the inside circle.

Adding 6 ft to the radius of the inside circle doubles the radius, so the inside circle's radius must be 6 feet. Then the circumference of the inside circle is ...

  C = 2πr = 2π(6 ft) = 12π ft ≈ 37.7 ft

URGENT AND SIMPLE question pls:))) You dont have to do all of it, if you could just give me the equation for this problem, that
Mashcka [7]

If Ann can build the model in 3 hours, then in 1 hour she gets 1/3 of it done. Likewise, if Sam can build the model in 6 hours, then in 1 hour he gets 1/6 of it done. We are looking to find how long it takes when they combine their efforts, so we will add the two together and set it equal to 1/x, x being the number of hours it takes for both of them to get the whole job done. The equation then looks like this: \frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{6}=\frac{1}{x}. You will have to find the common denominator to add those fractions, and once you do, cross multiply to solve for x.
