Answer:

Importantly, the organization of social groups into a hierarchy serves an adaptive function that benefits the group as a whole. When essential resources are limited, individual skills vary, and reproductive fitness determines survival, hierarchies are an efficient way to divide goods and labor among group members.

Explain the impact of American expansionism on Native Americans between 1800 - 1850
Sladkaya [172]
Native Americans were generally disenfrachised, lost power, and were negatively impacted by American expansionism, also known as Manifest Destiny, in this time period.

Events such as the Trail of Tears force the removal of millions of Native Americans over time to unfamiliar land that was often not as suitable as the land they came from. They also died in large numbers due to war and disease.

Which of the following is correct regarding the strategies of each side during the Civil War?
Aloiza [94]

The South: The South believed in using the "Diplomacy plan & King Cotton" which was to use cotton (which was the South's main crop) to sway European nations into helping the South by providing resources & equipments for the south to win the war.

The North: The North believed in the Anaconda Plan, which was to cut off all relations between the South and the world, encircle the South and barricade so that no resources enter, and to slowly "squeeze" the South until their resources are drained, and then give the final blow.

- paragraph form (5-6 sentences).
NikAS [45]

According to the History Channel, Europeans had motives for exploring the new world such as God, Gold, and Glory.

Europeans felt it was their Christian duty to spread the word of God through Christianity. Another European motive was the search for gold to enhance the richness of their home country (often in the name of their ruler(s)/monarch(s)). Europeans also explored for glory and to promote their home country’s power , show off their military might, and to spread their influence.

European exploration forever changed the New World through the spread of disease, religious assimilation, slavery/indentured servitude, cultural/social assimilation, weapon exchange, and economic trade. The United States still feels the effects of many of these changes such as with the near eradication of many Native American tribes and their ways of lives/cultures.
