So basically they want you to show 20 answers it already says 4 and you have to find the pattern in this one the pattern is add 6

Answer:

1114

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you have figure out the pattern. I found out it was adding 6.

Next, you continue the pattern till you get 20 numbers.

Then you add all the numbers.

4, 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40, 46, 52, 58, 64, 70, 76, 82, 88, 94, 100, 112, 118

When I added these I got 1114

I have to find the slope and the y-intersect from these graphs. It would mean alot if someone could help with at least one of th
Sati [7]

Answer:

Alright bear with me, this is gonna be a long one.

The Y INTERCEPT

So the y-intercept is going to be where the line intersects the Y-AXIS. The y-axis is the vertical part of the graph with the numbers on it.

So, for the first one, the line goes through the origin which means that that the y intercept is going to be (0,0)

The next one, the line intersects the y-axis at (0,1)

Here's a tip: the y-intercept will always have 0 as it's x coordinate.

The Slope

Alright, the slope of a vertical line can be found using an equation. Most typically people will describe the slope as RISE/RUN meaning how many units you move up "rise" and how many units you move horizontally "run" to touch the line. Of course, it's easier when you can identify points.

So to make this a little bit easier to understand, I will show you how to use the equation to find the slope.

\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

So for this equation, what you need is two coordinates. So for the first graph, I'm going to use the points (0,0) and (1,3)

\frac{3-0}{1-0}

So we make the three y2 because it's the second y coordinate and the y1 would be 0. Same applies to the x coordinates but use the x values.

the slope for the first graph would be 3/1

FOR THE SECOND GRAPH

\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

Here's our equation now pick two points. I'll be using (-5,4) and (0,1)

\frac{1-4}{0-(-5)}

Don't forget that a negative-a negative = positive

which will leave you with

\frac{-3}{5}

since it can't be simplified any further, your slope is -3/5.

I hope I was able to help you understand this a bit better :)

Suppose you are doing a binary search of the list [15, 18, 2, 19, 18, 0, 8, 14, 19, 14]. How many comparisons would you need to
Illusion [34]

Answer:

Three Times.

Step-by-step explanation:

First and foremost a binary search requires that the array be sorted in ascending or descending order.

After the initial step the search goes to the middle most value

i.e. [0, 2,8,14,14,15,18,18,19,19]

will be the second 14, which is the first iteration.

Since 14 is less than 19 the search will eliminate the lower half of the including 14, and will iterate again through the array:

[15,18,18,19,19]

The array will go to the middle most value which is 18, second iteration. Since 18 is less than 19, the program will eliminate the lower half and be left with two values i.e. [19,19].

The search will run once i.e. third iteration, and will return key value found.

How far away from home was she ?
Vlad [161]
Approx. 5 miles I would say give or take the 1/2 mile shortcut by taking a straight path back to the house. I don't know if you need an exact distance but I hope this helps.
