Answer:

Engineering has allowed for advancments in medicine far beyond what we thought was ever possible. One example is the ability to genomap, and from that new treatments and possibly cures for cancer are created. New tools are made that help in the everyday life of a medical provider, such as new clamps that can better grasp a vein or artery. Lastly, the development of new medicine through BioMed engineers has allowed for the treatment of kidney disease, and liver issues.

I hope this can help :)

The three-dimensional structures of tRNAs are highly conserved for what reason? The reason is probably so that each can fit equal
viva [34]

Answer:

The reason is probably so that each can fit equally well onto the ribosome and carry out its function

Explanation:

The three-dimensional structure  or tertiary structure of tRNAs is conserved and crucial for the interaction : it is L-shaped 3D structure that allows them to fit onto the ribosome (its  P and A sites). This is important for the function of tRNA: to be link between mRNA (carries the information from DNA) and ribosome (performs protein synthesis-translation).

Functions of the digestive system include which of the following? ingestion of foods and liquids mechanical processing of food m
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer and Explanation:

  • Ingestion of foods and liquids
  • Mechanical processing of food materials and liquids
  • Warming the body with heat released from the digestive organs as they process food.

Digestion is the breakdown of food substances by enzymes to simpler compounds that can be absorbed. Digestion begins in the mouth. Once food is ingested in the mouth, it is chewed and broken into small particles suitable for swallowing. Mechanical procesing of food is through the wave-like contractions of the muscular walls of the alimentary canal called peristalsis. Churn and pound food mixing it with digestive enzymes.

After digestion, absorption and assimilation, the final product is oxidized to provide energy to the body.
