Answer: Military conquests and slave labour.

Explanation:

It was a long way to Rome's rise to world power; it is not a process that happened "overnight". Rome has been continuously expanding since its founding. The biggest obstacle in the spread of Rome was Carthage, which was one of the ancient world's greatest naval powers. Rome launched several wars against Carthage known in history as the Punic Wars.

After conquering Carthage, Rome spread unstoppably. In this context, primarily thanks to the military. The Roman army was led by great discipline. Thanks to new military techniques and capable leadership, Rome was continuously expanding. Slaves encouraged the spread of rhyme. Many slaves worked on the construction of Rome and the infrastructure that was important for the movement of people and goods. A large number of conquered states paid taxes, so the state coffers were regularly full.

Why was the road to democracy more difficult for France than for England?
Oduvanchick [21]
One of the main reasons why the road to democracy more difficult for France than for England is because democracy happened relatively slowly in England, whereas it happened practically "overnight" in France, which led to far more chaos and violence.
