As the movement, it is not accelerated then
Xr = 30 T
Xp = 45(t-1)
they both will meet when x is the same, so
30T = 45T - 45
T = 3
they both will meet 3 hours after Roberto leaves, at 2 pm
through my calculations x=8
My mom has trouble understanding math... I decided to give her an easy equation. 3/6 km+1/5km = 15/40 +8/40. She asked me what I did. I told her that I multiplied both equations to get a denominator of 40. Then she said "what about those top ones" "oh... well" I said " whatever I multiplied to the bottom I have to do to the top!" Anyway back to the problem. Well... somehow all of this equals 23/40. This is because when you add 15 + 8 that equals 23! So wait a sec what is this on the bottom she asked. well... I am unsure why don't you tell me. She said that the 4 needed to have been added to it.. but the four was too much so they took away one. Good enough! The answer is 3 and 17/40
Y=-1/2x+5 slope=-1/2 because it goes down one unit and to the right 2 units, and the y intercept is 5 because that's where the line intercepts the y-axis!
We have been given that Tina designed an electric skateboard that has a speed of 4 miles per hour. Further we are given that in one hour it travels 4 miles, and in 2 hours it travels 8 miles.
We know that speed of any object can be found at any time, irrespective of it being a complete hour or a fractional hour. Therefore, speed of the electric skateboard is an example of continuous data.
The that in one hour it travels 4 miles, and in 2 hours it travels 8 miles have been given so that someone can easily confuse the speed of electric skateboard as a discrete data, but in actual speed of skateboard is a continuous data.
