Most immigrants who passed through Ellis Island were European, but most who passed through Angel Island were Asian. What is the
True [87]

The people have a tendency to move to new place for a better life. When people migrate across the nation to a new nation they are called as immigrants or migrants by the people of the place where they moved.

Route of Immigrants

Ellis island is situated in the upper part of bay of New York and is one of the most known immigration inspection center for the immigrants. The people who move to US from Europe have to travel across the west coast to board a ship for Ellis island.

Similarly, the migrants of Asia travel through the pacific ocean to reach Angel island which is the closest and the best route to reach the angle island.

Therefore, Most immigrants who passed through Ellis Island were European, but most who passed through Angel Island were Asian because "Ellis Island was closer to Europe, while Angel Island was closer to Asia" and OPTION D is correct.

What is one major difference between Elizabeth Cady Stanton's Declaration of Sentiments, produced at the Seneca Falls Convention
zavuch27 [327]
One major difference between Stanton's Declaration of Sentiments and the Declaration of Independence was the rights granted to women.

In the Declaration of Independence, it says that "all men are created equal." In the Declaration of Sentiments, it discusses how all men and women are equal. The Declaration of Sentiments then goes on to discuss all the different abilities that women did not have at this time. This includes the ability to: vote, keep their wages, and own property. All of these grievances (aka sentiments) were the core of the women's suffrage movement of the late 19th and early 20th century.
