Why should you ask people questions about school or their jobs?
IgorC [24]
It is always good to ask questions about jobs you think might interest you in the future. Selecting a job for your life is a big deal. It is good to know both the good and bad points of any job so you can make a better decision. Being informed is your job right now. Job titles and responsibilities change so you just have to keep on top of them. When it comes to school, I'm not sure you mean currently or for college. For college you want to attend the school that most closely fits your desired job, that will train you well and keep up-to-date instructors. Some colleges are known for certain degrees and have waiting lists or have stringent requirements you'll have to know about. Not only do you want to know about the academics of the college but what the social life and mission of the school is. Does it match who you are?

You recently left an item ( example, a book, musical instrument etc) on a bus on your way home from school. Write a letter to yo
Anastasy [175]

Answer and Explanation:

Dear…,

Remember how you’re always telling me I am the most forgetful person you have ever met? Well, I guess that must be true. I myself have never met anyone more prone to forgetting things than I am.

Last week, on my way home from school, I left my backpack inside the bus. I know it sounds insane. How can someone coming back from school forget a whole backpack, filled with books, and not notice it until much later? As I said, you were right about me.

I only noticed it was missing when, after dinner, I decided to get started on my English essay. I had brought the books I would need with me – or, at least, I though I had. When I entered my room and walked toward the spot on the floor where I usually drop my backpack once I get home, I realized what had happened.

You can imagine my despair. Precious books, notes, and a couple of devices, all lost at once. It was a nightmare. And you can also imagine how much I feared telling mom. I knew there would be a whole lecture on how little attention I pay to things, on how irresponsible I can be sometimes…

I told her anyway. She did not lecture me. I was shocked. Instead, she helped me contact the people who could help. This was not the school bus, but a regular one. It turns out they had found and kept my backpack. All was good.

Or so I thought. Once it was all solved and I had my backpack lying on my lap while mom drove us both back home, the lecture finally happened. I can’t say I was annoyed or angry. Just embarrassed. And your words, my dear cousin, kept popping in my mind all the while. I don’t ever want to go through this again. I promise to pay more attention from now on.

Alright, this is simple:

For reference material, you can use google, or a dictionary. Whichever you prefer. Though you should really know pretty much all of these words.

 1. Utmost: Basically, this means "highest possible". For example: I have the utmost respect for you. I have the highest possible respect for you. A synonym for this would be extreme. An Antonym would be least, or limited.

Your answer for #1 is Least.

2. Upheaval. This basically means a sudden or violent change to a specified object.
Your answer here is G.

3. Commerce. This has a meaning that is generally associated with business, such as buying or selling, or trading. The answer that fits this best is:

Exchange

4. Fluent. This generally means "with ease", or "gracefully", and is generally associated with written or spoken language, as well as actions.

The answer that best fits this: i: Able to speak or write a language easily.

~Hope this helps!
