mixas84 [53]

Argentina’s dirty war is a name used to call the proces in which the militaries took by force the goverment leaving out of the picture the democracy. It took place from 1976 and 1983. The dictatorship by the militaries was a campaign against people who did not share the same thoughts as them. It was installed what is called state terrorism, in which the militaries persecuted and kidnapped their opponents, usually broke into their houses in the middle of the night, and locked them in clandestine camps settled in all the country. Those people are known as "the disappeared" because no one knew where they took them. As a social outcome, there where more than 30000 disappeared including kidnapped, murdered people, most of them suffered systematic torture. The mothers of the victims after the process started an organization to find their children and after their grandsons who also where took as a hostage when their parents where captured. What did King William's War, and attack by Great Lakes and Canadian French forces on villages in New England and New York in the
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

King William's War demonstrated to the American colonists the value and importance of English military protection from hostile neghbors.

Explanation:

King William's War, named after the English King William III of Orange, was the first of the four so-called French and Indian wars in North America. The fighting broke out after the start of the Nine Years' War between the Kingdom of France and the Great Alliance in 1689. In New England, the English tried in vain to conquer Quebec, while the French attacked the coastal areas occupied by England. The war ended with the Peace of Rijswijk in 1697, but only five years later the war of Queen Anna broke out.

This conflict showed to the American colonists the importance of the English military presence in the colonies, due to the fragility that these had in front of the military power of the French of New France and the Native Americans. Therefore, from this war until the French and Indian War, the British presence in America was seen as necessary and supported by many American settlers.

The answer is C- Maintaining an individual and racial identity does not mean all people cannot work together. When he says, "we can be as separate as the fingers," he means that we can all be individuals with regard to our social characteristics, just as fingers can move independently of one another. However, as all fingers are attached to a hand, they are required to act as one unit for the progress of the group as a whole.
