So now we take off that 7 from the 13:
13 - 7 = 6
So now we find the area of that little area:
6 x 5 = 30
Now we do the other rectangle:
12 x 7 = 84
Now we add them together:
84 + 30 = 114
So the area of the shape is 114cm²
