Answer:

Choice C! :)

Explanation:

Appositives are groups of words that rename the noun next to it. You hear them all the time in normal conversations. It's easiest to identify them by seeing which flows best and which has the correct comma placement.

Choice D is wrong because 'very badly' is acting as an adverb phrase.

Choice B is wrong because it breaks up the sentence.

Choice A is wrong because 'the main one in town' does not rename the post office.

The correct answer is long-term

Short term would be something like passing the exam with a high mark, while management would be on devising a plan on how to manage your time. An impossible would be if you planned to do it without even being enrolled in the school.

Moonbird summary about the birds travels
olga55 [171]

B95 is a 4-ounce, robin-sized shorebird, a red knot of the subspecies rufa. Each February he joins a flock that lifts off from Tierra del Fuego and heads for breeding grounds in the Canadian Arctic, 9,000 miles away. Late in the summer, he begins the return journey. Scientists call him Moonbird because, in the course of his astoundingly long lifetime of nearly 20 years, he has flown the distance to the moon and halfway back. B95 can fly for days without eating or sleeping but eventually must land to refuel and rest. Recent changes, however, at refueling stations along his migratory circuit, most caused by human activity, have reduced the available food. Since 1995, when B95 was captured and banded, the rufa population has collapsed by nearly 80 percent. Scientists want to know why this one bird survives year after year when so many others do not. In a compelling, vividly detailed narrative, Hoose takes readers around the hemisphere, showing them the obstacles rufa red knots face, introducing a global team of scientists and conservationists, and offering insights about what can be done to save them before it’s too late.

ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

c. the overuse of commas forces the reader to pause and think about the impact of the king's actions.

Explanation:

Parallelism is the utilization of parts in a sentence that are linguistically the equivalent; or comparable in their development, sound or meter.

A sentence with parallel development makes your composition viable, tasteful, and sure to awe any individual who peruses your stuff, which is the case of this excerpt from the Declaration of Independence.
