Answer:

C). Regionalism.

Explanation:

Regionalism is exemplified as the 'local color' that provides the emphasis on a specified region and its traditions, dialects, characters, etc. The chief aim is to highlight the features of a particular region and propose a recognition to them.

As per the question, the use of dialect(assumed to be the use of dialect in "Huckleberry Finn") by Twain exemplify 'regionalism'. Twain was a realist who gave emphasis on the real-life subjects and portrayed them as 'true to life' that proposed an authentic touch to his writing. He employed 'local color' as reflected by the use of 'inappropriate phrases and grammar' that gives it a slang-like quality and assist the audience to connect to it. Thus, option C is the correct answer.

kari74 [83]
Well it's obviously not first person because do I really need to explain? It's not third person limited either because we would get to know the feelings and thoughts of one characters but we don't know the feelings or thoughts of any. It's not third person omniscient since we don't know any background information or stuff that the characters don't know yet.

The answer is D, third person objective because we don't know any of the characters' thoughts, opinions, or feelings. It's all unbiased & neutral.
