Answer:
Keep out of cold
Explanation:
A phrase is a collection of words which holds a concept ad can be used as a unit in a sentence.
The phrase that should be revised for a more parallel sentence is "keep out of cold" because if others are blocked out, it wouldn't make a proper sentence as it would look something like, "pet canaries need keep out of cold".
Properly revising it would look like, "pet canaries need to be kept out of the cold"

Dear Diary,
Last summer, I went to Pittsburgh for a business purpose. As soon as I got into the train and settled down, I noticed someone familiar. It was John A. Pescud. I was both shocked and surprised as I had not seen him since years.
I was curious about knowing, where was he all this time. So, we met and he told me about his past. How he got married after a long love story with a girl who was much richer than him. After I got down, I was contemplative about the story, whether was it a hoax or truth?
With love,
Henry.
