April Fools' Day is celebrated around the world, although it varies somewhat from country to country. In the United States, for

example, it's a day to play practical jokes. In France, where the holiday is known as Poisson d'Avril, or April Fish, people secretly tape paper fish on their friends' backs. A common April Fools' prank in Portugal is to throw flour on someone; in Scotland, the most popular trick involves sending someone on a useless errand. Denmark celebrates April Fools' Day on April 1, but some people there celebrate again in May. Maj-kat, on May 1, is yet another day for jokes and pranks in the spring.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You forgot to include the question. Here is just a statement. But no question at all.

However, trying to help you, we can comment on the following.

Probably, your question is <em>"what is the main idea of the text?"</em>

If that is teh case, then we can answer this.

Many countries celebrate April Fool's Day with different variations, but the constant is that all these countries include playing pranks as part of the celebration.

Although there is not just one official version of what was the origin of April Fool's Day, many countries celebrate this day mostly by playing hoaxes and pranks just to laugh. And it is not only between people. Mass media slots and TV news stations use to dedicate one space or portion of the program to play pranks with current events, politicians, businessmen, musicians, and artists.
