While Ovid was the first important Roman poet who started to wrote his work during the reign of Augustus. He was a contemporary of famous poets like Horace and Virgil. He was famous for his work "The Metamorphoses".

          Clark Coolidge is an experimental poet and a jazz musician. His poetry uses sonic and syntactical pattern to generate the meanings. He is a very fond of Ovid's work and thus uses the same plot and the characters in his poem but he changes its poetic format.
