You can tell this is a binomial distribution since there is specific failure or success (getting a defective is success, for example).

X~B(5, 0.01)

P(X≥1)= 1-P(X≤1)
=1-(0.999)
=9.80×10⁴ probability of getting at least one that is defective.

Hope I helped :)

Describe how the unit cost changes as the quantity of sugar increases. show work
Otrada [13]
The unit cost decreases the more you buy at once. 1.10/1 = $1.10 you're paying $1.10 per 1. 1.98/2 = $ .99 you're paying $.99 per 1 2.89/3 = $.96 you're paying $.96 per 1. When you buy 9 you're paying less per 1 than you are when you buy 1
