We can simplify that into 18x + 54 = 180
Now we take away 54 from both sides to get 18x = 126
Now divide both sides by 18 and we get
x = 7.
Now that we know that x = 7 we know that the 10x + 54 angle is equal to 124 by substituting the value of x in. We also know that 11y + 14 must equal to 124 because of vertically opposite angles. So we have 11y + 14 = 124.

Take away 14 from both sides; 11y = 110
Now divide both sides by 11 and we get
y = 10

So x = 7 and y = 10
