Answer:

The answer is yes.

Explanation:

Of course, no one can say that we live in a world without being challenged. But, in my opinion, even so, we can be thankful that we at least tried to reach our goal.

Also, to me, there is no such thing as a "failure", as nothing turns out exactly the way that we always hope it would. But that doesn't mean that we should take our efforts in vain.

Therefore, the correct answer is, yes. We can feel thankful when we are faced with challenges.

Hope this helps! :D

From a technical perspective, anyone could say, "yes." And that's okay, it's natural. After they say yes, they'd say something like, "It grows us as a person." But that is only because of the very fact that they are in a technical perspective. Not in the moment, or possibly not in the shoes, of experiencing an extreme struggle.

Tell me; if you are a struggling young man, on the verge of homelessness, would you be grateful for what you are right now? Because of certain failures in your life (due or not due to you) this is where you end up. You see, the thing is, not all failures end up with successes.

But your initial question was, "Can we." And there's the bright side of it. We can, very much so. It doesn't take too much of a bright mind to say so.

A possibly basic but effective example includes the journey of Thomas Edison and the lightbulb. He failed 1,000 in trying to make the lightbulb. But with his wisdom, he says that, "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps." This quote from him is saying that his failures were not for nothing. All in all, it essentially means that all his 1,000 "steps" were required in order to teach and lead him to the one big conclusion that today is known as the lightbulb.

Why does Dill pause "as if trying to remember" what his father looks like? What does Scout seem to think of Dill's descriptions
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

Jem and Scout as of now understand that Dill will in general misrepresent a piece when he recounts his life in Meridian, Mississippi. They're never certain which stories are valid and which are definitely not. while the kids are attempting to figure one more route for Boo Radley to turn out away from any detectable hindrance, Dill makes reference to that he trusts Boo must have a major, long whiskers. Scout demurely reacts, "Similar to your daddy's?" Dill answers that his dad doesn't have a facial hair, however then understands that he may have prior told Jem and Scout an alternate story previously.

Scout had gotten him in a falsehood, however Dill basically clarified that his daddy had shaved it off the past summer.

I the essay the narrator knows that he shouldn't kill the elephant, but does so anyway why does he do this? Describe a time when
mestny [16]

The poet described about the kill of the Element is given below.

Explanation:

In the 1920s a young would-be poet, an ex-Etonian named Eric Blair, arrived as a Burma Police recruit and was posted to several places, culminating in Moulmein. Here he was accused of killing a timber company elephant, the chief of police saying he was a disgrace to Eton. Blair resigned while back in England on leave, and published several books under his assumed name, George Orwell.

In 1936 these were followed by what he called a “sketch” describing how, and more importantly why, he had killed a runaway elephant during his time in Moulmein, today known as Mawlamyine. By this time Orwell was highly regarded, and many were reluctant to accept that he had indeed killed an elephant. Six years later, however, a cashiered Burma Police captain named Herbert Robinson published a memoir in which he reported young Eric Blair (whom he called “the poet”) as saying back in the 1920s that he wanted to kill an elephant.

All the same, doubt has persisted among Orwell’s biographers. Neither Bernard Crick nor DJ Taylor believe he killed an elephant, Crick suggesting that he was merely influenced by a fashionable genre that blurred the line between fiction and autobiography.

To me, Orwell’s description of the great creature’s heartbreakingly slow death suggests an acute awareness of wrongdoing, as do his repeated protests: “I had no intention of shooting the elephant… I did not in the least want to shoot him … I did not want to shoot the elephant.” Though Orwell shifts the blame on to the imperialist system, I think the poet did shoot the elephant. But read the sketch and decide for yourself.
