Why is it important that the federal government and the state governments have separate as well as shared powers?
katovenus [111]
The first "plan of government" that the United States operated under was a document known as the Articles of Confederation. After getting rid of the tyranny that we, as a nation, faced under British rule, we wanted to avoid a strong central figure as much as possible. This government plan was supposed to give the majority of the power to the states. This seemed like a wonderful idea to some, but unfortunately, nothing was getting done because it was too difficult to get anything done. This is why the federal government does need some power. It is important for the state, which is closer to its people, to have power because not all situations apply in all 50 states. In conclusion, it is important for federal and state government to share powers because otherwise there simply is no balance. So yeah.

Can someone give me information and facts about the ancient rome governments
IgorC [24]

Answer:

In Roman society, the aristocrats were known as patricians. The highest positions in the government were held by two consuls, or leaders, who ruled the Roman Republic. A senate composed of patricians elected these consuls. At this time, lower-class citizens, or plebeians, had virtually no say in the government.

How would the amount of oxygen absorbed by cells be different in an athlete who is blood doping, compared to a normal athlete?
LiRa [457]
When blood doping, it creates more red blood cells which carry oxygen to generally create ATP so in that case there would be more oxygen absorbed by a athlete blood doping than a athlete that is not due to the fact of the increase of red blood cells.
