What is the area of a shaded region in the quarter circle radius 12

Answer:

I guess that the shaded area is a quarter of a circle of radius 12 units.

Is easy to know that the area, will be equal to the quotient between the area of a circle of radius 12, and 4

We know that the area of a circle of radius R is:

A = pi*R^2

in this case, R = 12

pi = 3.14

Then:

A = 3.14*12^2 = 452.16

And a fourth of that is:

A/4 = (452.16)/4 = 113.04

The area of the shaded region is 113.04 square units

What is the answer to all the q's <br> ******WILL GIVE BRAINLIST******
olganol [36]

Answer:

1. F

2. T

3. T

4. T

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's break down the definitions.

Quadrilateral - A polygon with 4 sides

Square - A quadrilateral with 4 equal sides and 90 degree angles

Rectangle - A quadrilateral with 4 sides with opposite sides that are congruent and have 90 degree angles

Parallelogram - A quadrilateral with 4 sides with opposite sides that are congruent and do not have 90 degree angles

Rhombus - A quadrilateral with 4 equal sides but does not have 90 degree angles

Now let's look at the questions.

Does every 4 sided figure have equal sides? - No

Is a rectangle with 4 equal sides a square? - Yes

Is every parallelogram with 4 equal sides a parallelogram? - Yes

Is every 4 equal sided figure a figure with opposite sides that are equal? - Yes

A driving school wants to find out which of its two instructors is more effective at preparing students to pass the state’s driv
jonny [76]

Answer:

Yes, there is evidence to support that claim that instructor 1 is more effective than instructor 2

Step-by-step explanation:

We can conduct a hypothesis test for the difference of 2 proportions.  If there is no difference in instructor quality, then the difference in proportions will be zero.  That makes the null hypothesis

H0:  p1 - p2 = 0

The question is asking whether instructor 1 is more effective, so if he is, his proportion will be larger than instructor 2, so the difference would result in a positive number.  This makes the alternate hypothesis

Ha:  p1 - p2 > 0

This is a right tailed test (the > or < sign always point to the critical region like an arrowhead)

We will use a significance level of 95% to conduct our test.  This makes the critical values for our test statistic: z > 1.645.

If our test statistic falls in this region, we will reject the null hypothesis.
