Answer: for starters geographically all the colonies are located on the east coast, and have shores on the atlantic ocean (except for the indian territory). The middle colonies are similarly located towards the north. Whereas the southern and spanish territories are located south and parts even touch the golf coast. Additionally the spanish and english territories are furthest apart. and the indian territory borders all the other territories.
