The correct answer to this open question is the following.

After reviewing the stories of the Pre-Columbian civilizations of the Olmecs, Teotihuacans, Mayans, Aztecs, and Inca, my conclusion about the most defining characteristic of Pre-Columbian civilization is that they build impressive pyramids and ceremonial centers to worship their gods.

These Mesoamerican cultures had a "vivid" religious belief in which they honored and respect their gods. That is why they built these huge constructions for the time and even their social and family lives were centered on their relationships with the gods. They had gods of war, or rain, of death, or fertility, agriculture, and more.

There are places in México, where you can admire these archeological sites in perfect condition, as is the case of Teotihuacan, Monte Alban, Cholula, Xochicalco, and Tajin.

The territorial expansion of the US and the question of whether or not slavery would be allowed in the new territories was perhaps the single greatest factor leading up to the war, since before expansion, slavery was mostly confined to the South.

babunello [35]

The centre (or center in the United States) in ice hockey is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play is the middle of the ice, away from the sideboards. Centres have more flexibility in their positioning and are expected to cover more ice surface than any other player.

Answer: D. Declaring war

Explanation: The national government was in charge of preparing for war against Britain. The Articles of Confederation gave Congress the authority to appoint military officials, but not to draft soldiers. It was mainly up to the states if they wanted to contribute men for the war.
