Need help....... thx
Blababa [14]

I got 75582.

Explanation:

First, group the 40 identical candies into 20 pairs. It doesn't matter how since the candies are identical. This grouping will ensure that any assigment will contain at least two candies.

Then think of the 20 groups a 20 beads on a string. We are looking to place 11 separators between them to obtain 12 segments, each with a varying number of beads between them. How many ways are there to place 11 separators to 19 potential spaces between beads? The asnwer is n = {19\choose{11}}=75582

Find the equation of the circle with a diameter whose end points are (-1,-2) and (-3,2)
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

The equation of the circle with a diameter whose end points are (-1,-2) and (-3,2) is

x^{2} +y^{2}+4x-1=0

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Explanation:</u>-

<u>Step 1:</u>-

The equation of the circle having center and radius is

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

here center is (h,k) and radius is r

Given diameter whose end points are (-1,-2) and (-3,2)

The diameter of the circle is passing through the center of the circle

so center of the circle = midpoint of two end points

      (\frac{-1 +(-3) }{2} ,\frac{-2+2 }{2}  )

    (-2,0)

therefore center (h,k) = (-2,0)

<u>Step 2:-</u>

we have to find the radius of the circle

the radius of the circle = the distance from center to the one end point

i.e., C P = r

Given one end point is P(-3,2) and center C(-2,0)

The distance formula of two points are

\sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1} ) ^{2}+ (y_{2}-y_{1} ) ^{2}}

r=\sqrt{{(-3)-(-1) ) ^{2}+ (2-(-2)) ^{2}}

r=\sqrt{5}

<u>Step 3</u>:-

center (h,k) = (-2,0) and

radius r=\sqrt{5}

The standard form of circle equation

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

(x-(-2))^2+(y-0)^2=\sqrt{5} ^2

on simplification is

x^{2} +y^{2}+4 x-1=0

Pleaseeee helpppp answer correctly !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will mark Brianliest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fed [463]

Answer:

z=44

Step-by-step explanation:

One way to go about this with the given angles is to use the alternate interior angles theorem to find the full measure of ∠C and ∠A. Then, use the same theorem to set ∠BDA as 52°. Subtract all the angle measures from 360 (because the sum of the interior angles of a quadrilateral is = 360 degrees). Then divide the result by 2.

360-84-84-52-52=88

=88/2

=44

So z=44°

Can someone please explain to me how to find the value of m? thanks<br>-10 = -10 + 7m
GarryVolchara [31]
                                        -10  =  -10  +  7m

Add  10  to each side:      0  =          7m

Divide each side by  7 :    0  =          m

Please take a second and just LOOK at the equation you started with.
It says:

--  You have this number '-10' .

--  Your number  -10  is going to be exactly the same size
     after you add 7 of something to it.

The ONLY way that could happen is if the 'something' is 'nothing' .

       ' m '  must be nothing.
