Another example of a negative thing about social media is that many people spend too much time in front of a computer or mobile device, searching the web and connecting in social media sites. They have forgotten the value of real human contact and real friends. Finally, a sad situation is that cyberbullies are harassing people through social media and some people is afraid of connecting through some sites. There have been many cases where the victims are being chased by these cyberbullies.
