Find # of electrons and draw them onto the Bohr model.

Assuming the atom has a neutral charge, the number of electrons equals the number of protons.  The number of protons is given by the atomic number, 11, so there are eleven electrons.

From the inner "ring" to the outer "ring":

1.  The first "ring", closest to the center of the atom, can take two electrons.

2.  The second "ring", level 2, can take the next six electrons.

3.  The rest of the electrons (three) can fit on the outermost ring.

The different species present in an ecosystem make the ecosystem balanced.  The species of an ecosystem interact with one another in one form or the other. For example, the presence of a plant species will provide food for the abundant types of herbivores present in an ecosystem. A predator might feed on many types of preys. Hence, the presence of different preys will reduce the chances of a species from becoming wiped out from the ecosystem. Hence, all the organisms in an ecosystem are dependent on another in some way or the other.

a is the acceleration

t is the time


Plug in and solve for t:

When is selective breeding okay and when is it not? Provide evidence.

Answer:

Farmers have been using selective breeding for improving their crop qualities and producing animals with better characteristics.

Selective breeding is not okay on a bigger level where it might eradicate the natural varieties of plants and animals completely.  When done on a larger level, the wild-type traits of plants and animals will change and be removed completely. This will lead to lesser genetic diversity.
