Write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form using y=mx+b

The answer is:

y=2/3x-3

Because:

y=mx+b

m=slope (which is rise/run, which in this case is 2/3 because the line rises 2 and runs 3 before it hits another point)
x stays the same
b= y-intercept (which is where the line hits the y axis, which in this case is -3

Btw,
we don’t use the + sign even though it’s in the y=mx+b formula. This is because the y-intercept is a negative number (-3), so we make the + sign a subtracting sign (-)

nika2105 [10]

Answer:

152 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Once again its a square. All sides are equal.

Square root 361 to get 19.

19 x 19 = 361

4 was sewed together.

You could either add, 361+361+361+361

Or you could multiply, 361 x 4

Either way you get 1444.

You could either square root 1444 to get the side length or you could add the previous side length to itself once to get the new side length of 38.

Now you need to get perimeter.

P=4 x length

P=4 x 38

152 cm

Let's do the bracket part first,
and solve further as shown,
( \frac{3}{32}  \times  \frac{5}{2}) \times  \frac{8}{15}  \\  = \frac{15}{64}  \times  \frac{8}{15}  \\  =  \frac{8}{64} \\   =  \frac{1}{8}

What two consecutive numbers have a sum of 53? Thanks! :P
Musya8 [376]
Let's the name the first number x and the consecutive number x + 1. The sum of both of these numbers equals to 53.

We now have our equation:

x + x + 1 = 53

Now solve for x.

x + x + 1 = 53
2x + 1 = 53 <-- Combine like terms
2x = 52 <-- Subtract 1 from each side
x = 26

So, the first number is 26 and the second number is 27.

In an equation using x is just a place holder because those numbers are variables so it doesn't matter whether it is x or w.
