The length of Jaylen's bed is 6\ ft\approx 72\ in.

The length of his desk is 3\ ft\approx 36\ in.

The total length along the wall is 125\ in.

Jaylen wants 2\ ft \approx 24\ in. gap between bed and desk

the combined length of bed and desk is

\Rightarrow 72+36=108\ in.

The remaining length after placing the bed and desk is

\Rightarrow 125-108=17\ in.

As the remaining length is less than the required length

Therefore, it is not possible to leave a gap of two-foot between the bed and desk
