Christopher Columbus himself thought that he had reached India: he wanted the wealth from the trade with Indians.
In the beginning, the Spanish hoped for Gold and Silver, later also for other products that could be made cheaper in the New World.
In short: the Spanish were not interested in Mexico but in what the ships could bring from Mexico (again, mostly gold).
Some, very few Spaniards, who settled in the New World were too unhappy in Europe and hoped for a better life.

Essentially the same as Christian creation except we were made because Ahura Mazda was bored and started creating things. It also lists fire in the creation story as important. Ahiram or Angra Mainyu or whatever then peers into Ahura Mazda's world (The world that Ahiram created is Hell) and gets told to aid the humans and is given immortality. He immediately gets mad at the idea of serving mortals and starts to essentially pick on them.
Puritans
Puritans comprised a religious group that was known for its strict religious observance, strong work ethic, and a desire to rid the Church of England of what the group considered as "immoral" practices. By 1641 most Puritans had moved to the New England colonies in to freely practice their religion
