A candidate needs the vote of at least 270 electors—more than half of all electors—to win the presidential election. In most cases, a projected winner is announced on election night in November after you vote. But the actual Electoral College vote takes place in mid-December when the electors meet in their states.

How did the French Revolution influence African slaves in Frances Caribbean colonies?
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

C. It inspired them to launch their own political revolution.

An example of this was the Haitian revolution. For over a century, French had been ruled in the Haitian island (called Saint Dominique by the French). Although at the time, it was one of the wealthiest colonies producing sugar and coffee mainly, it was all at the expense of the Haitian slaves. Haitian had to endure oppression, violence and poor living conditions.

Explanation:

The French Revolution was a period of radical political and societal change in France that began with the Estates General of 1789 and ended with the formation of the French Consulate in November 1799. Many of its ideas are considered fundamental principles of liberal democracy, while phrases like Liberté, égalité, fraternité reappeared in other revolts, such as the 1917 Russian Revolution, and inspired campaigns for the abolition of slavery and universal suffrage. Its values and the institutions it created dominate French politics to this day.

Considering that the Ottoman government denied any orders or mass killings, why is Turkish Army Officer Lieutenant Baas' account
sveticcg [70]

People give different versions of the same story as they want. The Turkish Army Officer Lieutenant Baas' account is important as His first-hand account contradicts the denial.

The Ottoman government  in 1916 was known to have massacres a lot of people.

The Armenian genocide denial was a big case in the world.  The claim made by the Ottoman Empire and the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP) was that they had no hand in the genocide against the Armenian people during World War I.

This was a very big crime that has a lot of documentation on the numbers of  evidences to prove their guilt but they still won't accept that they committed it.
