Perseverance is a strong starting point, especially for those who may not be that gifted when it comes to something like theatre. That being said, in real life scenarios, it is often determined that the easier and faster way to get results is with someone who is naturally gifted. In a working environment, perseverance could be used in group scenarios where scouts would look for "stand out performers". However, when it comes down to it, they are not looking for someone to train, they want someone who's "got that thing".
