The unemployment among the youth is commonly associated with various problems like high crime rate among the youth and riots. The youths have remained unemployed because of various social challenges that face the youths. These include laziness among the youth which makes them not to desire to search for employment hence, they remain unemployed for long durations because of such social elements. These two fundamental outcomes of unemployment could result in the social breakdown when they reach unmanageable levels. Joblessness remains the fundamental cause of the social evils commonly associated with high unemployment levels. These social problems cannot be predicted when they will occur, but they certainly will occur when the unemployment becomes uncontrollable. The youth unemployment can be defined as a time bomb waiting to explode. These imminent problems associated with unemployment present a significant challenge to many governments in seeking to provide solutions to the problem of unemployment. The fundamental approach utilised by many governments remains the creation of jobs within the informal sector. My own house was an eyesore, but it was a small eyesore, and it had been overlooked, so I had a view of the water, a partial vie
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

What this passage tells us about Nick is:

C. He is wealthy enough to live in West Egg but not wealthy enough to rent a very nice place.

Explanation:

Nick is impressionable enough to call his own house an eyesore and to think of the proximity of millionaires as "consoling". Therefore, we can eliminate option A. Option B is also wrong because there is nothing in the passage to reveal his desire to move to a different house. He likes it where he lives. Finally, option D speaks of desperation to become part of the elite, but Nick does not reveal that feeling at all. He is used to the company of wealthy people - perhaps not millionaires, but wealthy nonetheless.

We are left with option C. Nick comes from a well-off family. He does have some means, and he can afford to live in West Egg. However, he is not so rich as to rent a mansion. He takes a smaller house, one that has been overlooked, whose rent is affordable and that offers the perks of living in a great neighborhood.

Zachary is interested in football. Which is the BEST choice for an argumentative essay on this topic?
Hitman42 [59]

Hello. You did not show the answer options, which makes it impossible for me to answer you accurately. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

An argumentative essay is an essay in which the author presents arguments that convey his or her opinion on the subject to which the essay refers. In this case, as you have shown that Zachary has an interest in football, we can assume that he will write an essay showing his opinion on something related to football. This essay can show what he thinks and what his opinion is about a player, a game, a team, a coach, or anything else related to football. The important thing is that he is able to argue, that is, to express an opinion on it.
