What is “theme statement”
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

The definition of a theme statement can vary, but essentially it's asking you to state what the piece of writing was about — not the plot, but what sort of insight or perspective does it give on life/the world/human nature? Theme is also sometimes known as the "main idea" of a story

              Dear Sir,

LETTER FOR A CHANGE OF PROGRAMME

I humbly write out of a heart that desires quality. Having gone through the senior high school where I recently got an admission, I discovered that there are somethings I will like to share with you.

First, the department lacks adequate laboratory equipment. They seem to be glued to the use of "ancient" laboratory. Their available equipment makes practical works boring and uninteresting.

Also, the department's teaching standard is very poor. Some of the teachers are unable to present their lessons properly for students to grasp.

These are some of the reasons why I solicit for a change of program. I believe another program will be better off for me.

                                                                                           Yours faithfully,

                                                                                                   Chris O.
