Compare and contrast the difference between a metaphor and a simile then give a unique example of each
NeTakaya
A metaphor and a simile both describe something using a comparison to something else, but a metaphor does it an implied way, and a simile does it explicitly by using the word like or as.

Example of a simile: She looked like a cat that had just been thrown in the water.
Example of a metaphor: She was a blank slate, ready to start anew.

Which best explains a strategy for ensuring a beginner audience will understand your essay
Ksivusya [100]
Make sure your essay is easy to read and understand. If you are writing an essay you want to make sure you use the correct wording and correct grammar. You do not want to word everything in a way somebody can understand it. For example if you were going to write an essay on double digit multiplication. You do NOT want to say multiply the two, instead explain how to multiply the two and what it means to multiply them. I hope I helped :) if not then sorry!

How does the bill of rights play a role today?
Alja [10]
The bill of rights play a role today, in that people living in the US are given rights such as the freedom of speech, assembly, religion, etc, and that the government should not try to interfere with a person living in the US's belief unless it starts to hurt other people. Without it, our citizens would not have been part of a democratic nation, and it would not have had a right to voice and do what they want (that is, while it is under the law)

hope this helps
