Compare and contrast the rise of fascism in italy to the rise of communism of the soviet union

History

Answer:

I think that a primary connection between both rises in governments was the basic element that people felt that the existing governments were either ineffective or detrimental to the general welfare.  Either the people felt this or were manipulated to feel this way through skilled individuals who advanced the rise of a new form of government in contrast to the Status Quo.  The presence of overwhelming economic conditions and a lack of clear vision on the part of the Status Quo helped both rise.

In the case of the Soviet Union, the disenchantment caused by poverty and a failed entry into the First World War helped set the stage for the Czar's overthrow and the ushering in of a Communist government.  The belief that Russia was ready to forego an autocratic and royal government and embrace a new system where workers worked for a workers' state was what motivated the drive for Communism.

Similar in economic disenchantment and political muddle, charismatic leaders like Mussolini and Hitler were able to mold public opinion and associate themselves with nationalism.  Accordingly, these individuals were able to present themselves as the penultimate solution to their nation's problems, and embracing fascism that supported their own ascendancy to power allowed them to be able to become the face of their nations.  In both contexts, the rise of new governments arose from the case being made that the preceding political orders failed to address the needs of "the people" and that a new vision could do so.

How did wartime production in American factories relate to the end of the Great Depression?
ddd [48]
Once America entered World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the federal government called on businesses all over the country to increase production of war materials (ammunition, guns, airplanes, etc.). This need for the aforementioned products caused businesses to seek new employees to hire. Considering that millions of men all over the country were drafted into the war, this resulted in women being persuaded to join the work force.

Since women joined the workforce and men were employed by the military, the unemployment rate drops dramatically during World War II. Since more people were employed, more American citizens were getting paid consistently. This helped to ensure that America finally escaped the Great Depression once and for all.

How did american nationalism spark the growing conflict between the state right and federal rights
Anit [1.1K]

Answer:

basically the Monroe doctrine declared that America was in opposition of European interference in the Americas.

Explanation:

the Monroe doctrine was definitely driven by American nationalism and this doctrine had big impacts on how the war ran its course, it probably actually would have caused  the union(American government) to lose the war, but the south was looking for help from European countries and they tried making agreements that slave trade would continue in the Americas if the south defeated the north, this was big motivation for European countries to help and was a very dangerous thing to the north because they essentially would have had to fight on two fronts, so this caused the growth of the tension to rapidly increase. At least from what my text book tells me.
