What is the meaning and importance of self discipline and self-control?
myrzilka [38]

Self discipline: The ability to control your own feelings and overcome your own weaknesses. The ability to pursue what you think is right despite temptation to abandon it.

Self control: The ability to control yourself, your emotions, behavior, and desires particularly.

Both of these are super important in many situations. In school, it is important to have self-control to respect the people around you. If you were to disregard self discipline and self-control, you would be doing whatever you wanted and getting in trouble. The same thing applies to life situations. If you disregarded self discipline and self-control in a mall or in a bank or while driving, you could do a lot of things that you would probably regret later. Self control and discipline are such important skills to have. They essentially show how tough a person can be to restrain themselves in some hard situations, and stay cool even in heated situations.

I hope this helps you :)
