Answer:

Explanation:

There are many way that the vocanic eruption in japan have an impact on Canada. ONe of them is finacially,with all the damage done in Japan the country would have to spend millions to restore what has been destroyed. With this said Canada is ocean neighbors with Japan so all of the debris from japan would cross over to B.C. therefore the Canadian government would have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to clean up what has washed up on the shores. Also since canadiasn are so empathetic, they would most likely donate money to aid the Japanese, adding to the cost.

How many millimetres on the ground are represented by one millimetre on the map of the world

NemiM [27]

Explanation:

if 1cm represent 1km on the map, then :

1cm=1km

1cm=10mm

1km=100000m

1m=100cm

1m=100×10

=1000m

1km=100000×1000

=100000000mm.

Therefore, if 1cm=1km

then 10mm on the map represents 100000000mm on the ground.

Earth is a closed system. that means the amount of rocks, metals, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and water on earth ___. so it is ess
leonid [27]

Answer:

 • The Earth is a "closed system" which means that the amount of rocks, carbon, metals, nitrogen, water and oxygen on earth remains constant.
 • So it is essential that "biogeochemical cycles renew these materials" as they move through the Earth's subsystems.

Explanation:

 • The Earth's only source of extra-planetary energy is the Solar radiations received by Earth.
 • The biogeochemical cycles on the planet are responsible for processing the same old rocks, metals, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, water, and other abiotic substances on Earth in order to naturally renew them and make them available for reuse.
 • No naturally occurring element on Earth is newly produced. It is only renewed through biogeochemical processes.
