Answer:

A.) The subject was dropped, but it was clear that it would be brought up again

Explanation:

This is the most exact, given the fact that the senteces states tha in the meantime curiosity was taking a fresh start, this sentece states that they knew that it´d come up again and that they´d be debating the subject again because there was a revival of the interest.

A.) The subject was dropped, but it was clear that it would be brought up again.

The first sentence is the most exact and the most precise because of how the idea is communicated in least amount of words possible. It is important to keep in mind that when you are writing something that comprehension always goes down the more words there are in a sentence. Thus, it is always best to communicate with the fewest words possible. Let’s take a look at another example. Say you are at a baseball game and a fly ball is coming directly toward you without your knowledge, and the person sitting next to you tries to warn you by saying the following: “Because of the velocity of a baseball coming in your direction and the potential damage it may cause if it comes into contact with your head because you are not wearing a helmet and because ambulance rides as well as emergency room visits are not fun nor cheap, you should probably seek to get out of the way as soon as possible.” How would that work? Now, compare that to the more exact/precise sentence of “Duck!” See how that works?

Well, I would look at mostly articles depending on what your claim is and find articles that mainly support your claim. Make sure you provide this evidence and what source you got it from so it doesn't look like plagiarism.

First, find the equation of the line.
the slope is given, so y=-5x+b
now use the given point to find b: 228=-5*(-3)+b, b=228-15=213

so the equation of the line is y=-5x+213

when y=517:                         517=-5x+213
                                              304=-5x
                                              x=-60.8

Kino had wondered often at the iron in his patient, fragile wife. She, who was obedient and respectful and cheerful and patient,
bixtya [17]

Although the rest of the question is not included, we can still describe what this quote means in the novel. This quote comes from the book The Pearl by John Steinbeck.

In this quote, Kino is describing his wife Juana. Kino has always been obsessed with manhood, and what it means to be a man. Similarly, he wants his wife to be a typical woman. Juana is indeed patient, fragile and submissive. She obeys her husband and fulfills ideals of traditional womanhood. However, she is also very strong. She is resilient, practical and brave. This semi-contradiction shocks Kino, but also allows him to rely on her for support throughout their troubles.
