During the Irish Famine, many people suffered due to the food shortage that caused by massive increase in population due to a constant flow of Immigrants from Ireland. The landlords and the wealthy of course kept a massive food supply within their reach and the British Government basically did nothing about it.</span>
The KKK reemerged again and grew to millions of members in the 20s for a variety fo reasons.
They first gained a foothold in the depression after World War I before the roaring 20s. By stoking the xenophobia and conservative moralism of white Protestants in cities around the country (not just the South), the KKK was able to recruit members who feared immigrants and a loss of their "way of life."
The country that lost all of it's African colonies by 1920 was Germany<span />
So this is what I know... white women were the first ones that represented the first women’s rights movements but they did not include any BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) in their movements
