Knowing that Biodiversity is the variety and variability of life on Earth. Biodiversity is typically a measure of variation at the genetic, species, and ecosystem level. Terrestrial biodiversity is usually greater near the equator, which is the result of the warm climate and high primary productivity. The ecosystem will change if a new species is introduced to an unfamiliar ecosystem. If a new species of birds were to eat another animal that was supposed to be eaten by another. The food chain of the ecosystem would be changed drastically. Aka, it might make the lizards go extinct, and can possibly become abundant. Aka, overpopulating and creating havoc within the ecosystem. Thus, causing imbalance.
