They don't give advice on how to do actual life things, like taxes or cooking. This we really need!

I disagree. High school tells us how to graph linear equations, find the tone in an author's story, but it doesn't tell us how to pay our bills. It doesn't tell us how to get an apartment, or how to prevent student loans. High school doesn't tell us how to prevent heartbreak, so how to not break someone's heart.

High school does not prepare us students for adulthood.
