Answer:

1. Par Value = $3,400,000

Semi-annual coupon rate = 9%/2 = 4.5%

Semi annual coupon = Semiannual rate * Par value = 4.50$*$3,400,000

= $153,000

So, the interest that Boston will pay (in cash) to the bondholders every six months is $153,000

ipn [44]

Answer:

E) illusory correlation

Explanation:

An illusory correlation happens when someone mistakenly believes that the occurrence of one event will result in the occurrence of other unrelated events.

Psychologically every single one of us tends to create a relationship between unrelated events, but some simply go one step ahead and deeply believe in a strict cause-effect relationship.

For example, a lot of people tend to create a relationship between very beautiful women and not being smart. While being pretty has nothing to do with being intelligent. I've met beautiful women that are extremely smart and very capable at work, while other not beautiful women are simply the opposite.

Anon25 [30]

When businesses raise the price of a needed product or service after a natural disaster, this is known as price gouging. Price gouging is something that businesses do after a natural disaster when they know consumers are going to need a specific product or service so they raise the price because they know people are going to buy it anyways. An example of this is when they raise gas prices after a natural disaster, knowing people still need gas.

Brut [27]

Answer: demand increased

Explanation: Increased prices tends to result in lower demand, and demand increases generally lead to increased supply. However, a decrease in price results to increase in demand. supply of different products responds to demand differently, with some products' demand being more sensitive to prices than others. In this case at $10, $100,00 worth of flour was sold, a decrease in price to $8 saw an increase in demand with about 15,625 worth of product sold compared to 10,000 when at $ 10 that's an increase of 5,625 in demand.

Weston Corporation just paid a dividend of $3.75 a share (i.e., D0 = $3.75). The dividend is expected to grow 9% a year for the
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

D1 = $4.085

D2 = $4.46

D3 = $4.86

D4 = $5.01

D5 = $5.16

Explanation:

As per the data given in the question,

DO = $3.75

Dividend expected to grow = 9%

Dividend grow later = 4%

D1 = DO(1+ Dividend1) = $3.75(1+9%)

=$3.75(1.09)

=$4.085

D2 = DO(1+ Dividend1 )( 1 + Dividend2)

= $3.75(1+9%)(1+9%)

= $4.46

D3 = DO(1+Dividend1)(1+Dividend2)(1+Dividend3)

= $3.75(1+9%)(1+9%)(1+9%)

= $4.86

D4 = DO(1+Dividend1)(1+Dividend2)(1+Dividend3)(1+Dividend later)

= $3.75(1+9%)(1+9%)(1+9%)(1+3%)

= $5.01

D5 = DO(1+Dividend1)(1+Dividend2)(1+Dividend3)(1+Dividend later)(1+Dividend later)

= $3.75(1+9%)(1+9%)(1+9%)(1+3%)(1+3%)

= $5.16
