Adolf Hitler was an austrian born german politician and dictator (someone with complete control over a country). He led the country of Germany also known as Nazi Germany and the Third Reich (german for empire) from around 1933-1945 when he shot himself. He was the main leader and starter of WW2 and was responsible for the death of 6 million jews throughout Europe. He came into power after WW1 (also known as The Great War) when he promised the people he would "bring germany back into greatness". The german people trusting him for multiple reasons including: He fought in WW1, he was smart and he said the things people wanted to hear. He went on the annex most of europe before shooting him in the Fuhrerbunker (german for shelter for the leader) on April 30th 1945. This ended WW2 in Europe.
